Question

What settings are there beyond those accessible via the graphical user interface of Sensoft? How can I change them?

Answer

The settings are stored in a human readable file, the configuration file. When Sensoft is opened, it loads the configuration file Default config.ini located in the folder

for Sensoft Vision. Users can save and load their own configuration files, typically located in that same folder. Each line of the configuration file specifies one parameter. Thus, you can see all parameters by opening the configuration file in a text editor, Figure 1. There you can also change their value. To update the value in Sensoft, of course you have to save the config file and load it in Sensoft.

There is also another way to quickly see or change a parameter that normally is not accessible: in Sensoft press Ctrl - D, making appear the tab Debug, which contains most hidden parameters. When done hide the tab again by pressing Ctrl - D.

It is rare that one has to use such a parameter.
